    FileScrub.com ("FileScrub", "we", "our", or "us") is operated by FileScrub.com. This Privacy Policy explains how FileScrub handles information in connection with your use of our website and tools at filescrub.com.

    The short version: We don't collect your files, your file metadata, or any personally identifiable information. Our tools run entirely in your browser. We have no way to see or access any files you process with FileScrub.

    No File Uploads

    All file processing performed by FileScrub — including reading, analyzing, and modifying metadata — occurs entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server operated by FileScrub or any third party. When you drop a file into a FileScrub tool, it is loaded into your browser's local memory only.

    Information We Do Not Collect

    We do not collect:

    • The files you process
    • The metadata contained in your files
    • Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
    • IP addresses for the purpose of tracking individuals
    • Device fingerprints
    • Your location data

    No User Accounts

    FileScrub does not require, offer, or maintain user accounts. You can use all FileScrub tools without registering, logging in, or providing any personal information.

    No Cookies for Tracking

    FileScrub does not use tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to track your behavior, build a profile of your interests, or target you with personalized advertising based on your browsing history.

    Third-party services we use (described below) may set their own cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.

    Advertising (Google AdSense)
